Having just moved back to London, I intend to take a year out of study to settle into my role with the company and increase my experience in the field of Human Factors and Ergonomics, before I begin my MSc in Occupational Psychology in 2015.

What do you do at Greenstreet Berman Ltd?

I am currently supporting the company to deliver a range of projects for a number of safety critical industries including the MoD, UK Utilities and Emergency management. My current involvement is focused on assessing and benchmarking safety culture, enhancing compliance improvement and supporting emergency management.

My prior work with a behavioural safety consultancy has given me experience in analysing behavioural trends (through qualitative review) and mapping this to safety culture maturity, with a view to enhancing organizational safety culture.

I also have experience of conducting interviews, and performing statistical analysis (within SPSS) with a view to better understanding the factors that affect people’s attitudes and behaviours in the context of eating behaviours – the subject of my BSc thesis.

What are your professional interests?

I have great interest in analysing the safety culture of high hazard organisations, such as oil and gas, aviation, nuclear etc. From stakeholder engagement through to analyzing attitudes and behaviours, I enjoy applying a range of theories and methods to understand and enhance safety culture.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am an active individual who enjoys going to the gym and staying healthy. I enjoy meeting up with friends, going out for meals and having a good laugh. Lately, I’ve been working on my cooking skills and trying out new (sometimes healthy) recipes. Although I haven’t been to many places yet I would love to travel across the world and experience different cultures.

Tell us something we might not know about you

From the age of 6, I enjoyed performing South Indian Singing, teaching children for approximately 3 years before I headed off to university. This is a hobby I intend to start again soon!
