I work closely with clients to define the scope and depth of Human Factors work to ensure I deliver assessments that are proportionate and targeted and which are delivered to required standards, within the agreed timescales.
Through the application of Human Factors techniques (e.g. task analysis and ergonomic walkdown) I identify the potential for human error and deliver fit for purpose design and safety case Human Factors solutions to improve safety and reliability.
What are your professional interests?
I enjoy being part of an interdisciplinary team providing support to the safety case and design. The most interesting projects for me involve supporting the design of new equipment and facilities, as well as looking at the procedures that will be used to support their use and operation.
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy exercising and eating out! I also love going to gigs and recently went to see the Foals in Manchester – who were fantastic. My favourite gig is still the Stone Roses at Finsbury Park in 2013.
Tell us something we might not know about you.
I completed my first triathlon in 2015 and now I’m hooked!
