This interactive training helps supervisors to develop their knowledge, skill and confidence in a range of soft skills, including influencing people, leading people, managing conflict, communication, coaching, problem solving and planning, situation management in the event of abnormal and emergency operations. The training is segmented into two days, delivered four weeks apart to enable consolidation of learning and offer formal support to delegates following skill application within the operational environment. An accredited trainer facilitates the training using a variety of interactive methods including plenary discussion, videos, individual and group exercises and scenario-based skills practice.
